You're in the right place! This guide will walk you through accessing tickets transferred via SeatGeek, whether you received the email or not. SeatGeek transfers are fast, secure, and mobile-friendly.
Step 1: Check Your Email and Click “Accept Ticket”
Once the seller transfers the tickets, you’ll receive an email from SeatGeek (transactions@seatgeek.com
) with the subject line:
"[Name] wants to send you a ticket"
Open that email and click the Accept Ticket button to begin the transfer.
Tip: Can’t find the email? Search for:
transactions@seatgeek.com
“wants to send you a ticket”
Be sure to check your junk or spam folder as well.
Even if you can't find the email, continue to Step 2 — you may be able to accept the transfer directly through your SeatGeek account.
Step 2: Log In or Sign Up with the Same Email
Log in using the same email address you used to place your GoTickets order.
If it’s your first time using SeatGeek, tap Sign Up and follow the prompts to create an account.
Step 3: Accept the Ticket Transfer
Once logged in, you’ll see a pending ticket waiting to be accepted.
Tap Accept Ticket and you’ll receive a confirmation once the tickets have been successfully added to your SeatGeek account.
Step 4: Download the SeatGeek App
Download the free SeatGeek app from the App Store or Google Play.
This makes it easier to view, store, and scan your tickets right from your phone.
Step 5: View and Use Your Tickets
Open the SeatGeek app and tap the Tickets icon to view your event.
If available, tap Add to Wallet to save your ticket to your phone’s Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
Can’t add it to your wallet yet? No problem — you can still scan your ticket directly from the SeatGeek app at the venue entrance.
