How do I get my parking pass transferred from ParkWhiz?

Modified on Fri, Aug 1 at 12:09 PM

Did you receive an email about a parking pass via ParkWhiz?
You're in the right place. This guide will walk you through how to view your parking pass, add your vehicle’s license plate, and store it on your phone.

Step 1: Check Your Email and Click “View Parking Pass”

Once the seller initiates the transfer, you'll receive an email from ParkWhiz (e.g., help@parkwhiz.com) with the subject line:

“[Sender] sent you a parking pass!”

Tap the View Parking Pass button to begin the process.
This email is not your pass — you’ll need to sign in to view it.

Tip: Search for “ParkWhiz” if you don’t see the email right away. Be sure to check your spam or junk folder too.

Step 2: Sign In or Create an Account

You’ll be taken to a login screen.
Log in using the same email address that received the pass, or create a new account if you're new to ParkWhiz.

  • You can sign in with your email and password

  • If you have not used ParkWhiz previously, you can sign up using the same email address used to place your order.

Step 3: Open the “My Parking” Tab and View Your Pass

Once signed in, navigate to the My Parking tab.
Your upcoming reservation will appear here. Tap View Pass to access full pass details, including:

  • Lot address and directions

  • Parking time frame

  • Parking Pass number

  • QR code

  • Transfer and calendar options

Tap the green button showing your Parking Pass # to open the QR code and Edit License Plate.

Step 4: Add Your License Plate

In some cases, your parking spot is reserved based on your license plate — not a printed tag.

Tap Add Vehicle or Edit License Plate
Enter your plate number and tap Save Vehicle

Step 5: Download the ParkWhiz App

Download the free ParkWhiz app from the App Store or Google Play.

This makes it easy to access your pass anytime — even if you're offline or don’t have email access at the venue.

Step 6: Add Your Pass to Your Digital Wallet

After viewing your pass, you’ll have the option to Add to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

This ensures your pass is always handy and scannable, even in areas with limited service.

Helpful Tips:

  • The QR code is what you’ll scan or show upon arrival

  • If your pass shows “No Vehicle,” make sure to update your license plate before parking

  • You can edit your vehicle at any time under the “My Parking” tab
