When will I get my tickets?

Ticket delivery timing depends on how the tickets were listed by the seller. Here’s what to expect based on your order type.


Instant Delivery

If your tickets are marked Instant Delivery, they’re ready to go.

  • The seller already has the tickets in hand.

  • As soon as your order is confirmed, you’ll receive them by email or SMS.

  • You’ll have immediate access—no waiting required.




In-Hand Date

Tickets with an In-Hand Date will be delivered closer to the event.
This is the seller’s estimated date of delivery and may be set days—or even hours—before the event. Reasons for this include:

  • Delayed ticket release by the artist, venue, or primary ticketing platform

  • Sellers waiting to deliver closer to the event to prevent issues like lost or transferred tickets

  • Conservative timing—many sellers list longer windows just to be safe, and tickets may arrive earlier than expected

No matter the timing, your tickets are 100% guaranteed to arrive before the event.


The In-Hand-Date will be displayed during the checkout process.


How to Check Your Delivery Status

You can check the delivery status of your order anytime by logging into your GoTickets account. You’ll also receive email updates as soon as your tickets are delivered or transferred.
