Can I share tickets I bought with a friend?

Yes! In most cases, you can share tickets with a friend or family member—as long as each person has their own ticket to enter the event.

The only common exception is for parking passes, where one pass typically covers a single vehicle.

How to Share Tickets by Delivery Type

Mobile Tickets

  • Most mobile tickets can be transferred through the original ticketing platform (like Ticketmaster, AXS, or MLB Ballpark).

  • You’ll typically need your friend’s name and email address.

  • Once transferred, it’s helpful to share the GoTickets delivery instructions so they know how to access the tickets in their account.

Example: Ticketmaster

Print-at-Home (PDF)

  • Forward the ticket PDF by email, or print out a copy and hand it to your friend before the event.

  • Each person must bring a clearly printed ticket for scanning at the venue.

Hardstock Tickets / Wristbands

  • These must be physically handed off or shipped to your friend.

  • We recommend allowing enough time for shipping if you won’t see each other before the event.

Important Exceptions

In rare cases, tickets may be non-transferable or have special requirements, such as:

  • Group entry only (e.g., all attendees must enter together)

  • Seller escort (a seller representative walks the group in)

  • Name-matching restrictions (very uncommon)

If any of these apply, they’ll be clearly noted in the ticket listing or delivery instructions.
