How do I know if my seats are together?

Modified on Wed, Aug 13 at 12:16 PM

In most cases, yes—your seats will be together.
Standard listings on GoTickets are for consecutive seats, meaning they’re side-by-side in the same row. You’re guaranteed to be seated together unless otherwise noted in the listing details.

When Seats Might Not Be Side by Side:

Piggyback Seating

  • These listings may include a note that the seats are one behind the other in consecutive rows (e.g., Row G Seat 5 and Row H Seat 5).

  • This is still considered grouped seating and is clearly disclosed in the listing notes.

Seat Secure Listings (Groups of 5+ Tickets)

  • If you purchase more than 4 tickets from a Seat Secure Listing, the tickets may be split into smaller groups (e.g., 3+2).

  • Each smaller group will still have consecutive seats, even if the full party isn’t all in one row.

Odd/Even Numbered Seating (Theater Style)

Some venues—especially theaters—use odd/even seating, which can look confusing at first.
For example: if you receive seats 1, 3, 5, and 7, they are consecutive and located next to each other. This layout is just part of the venue’s design.
